Power and Property

چکیده
It is a question of income. The increase in the global inequality of income distribution has to do with the global distribution of property and property rights. At present the richest 1% of the world’s population has income equal to that of the bottom 57%, in other words, ca. 50 million wealthy people have the same amount of money at their disposal as 2.7 billion poor. The top 10% of the U.S. population [25 million] has an aggregate income equal to that of the 43% poorest people in the world [2 billion]. And the situation is getting worse: whereas the richest 10% of the world’s population had an income that was seventy-nine times higher than that of the poorest 10% in 1980, in 2000 their income was 120 times higher. Taking the world as a whole, the gap between the richest fifth and the poorest fifth of the world’s population has doubled in the past decades. There are also major differences between individual nation-states. The gap between the poor and the rich in the USA is more than double that in Germany, and in Brazil it is six times greater than that in Germany.

Almost power-Hermitian rings
In this paper we define a new type of rings ”almost powerhermitian rings” (a generalization of almost hermitian rings) and establish several sufficient conditions over a ring R such that, every regular matrix admits a diagonal power-reduction.
متن کاملThe Relationship between Socio-Economic Status and Music Consumption among the Youth in Tehran
This research studies the relationship between socio-economic status and music consumption among the youth. The socio-economic indexes include prestige, power and property from Max Weber's Theory. This survey covers a researcher-made questionnaire along with 200 young ones between 15-35 years of age living in Tehran (areas: Elahieh, Jourdan, Apadana, Enghlab, Kianshahr, Ra-ahan). Nine hypothese...

متن کاملQSAR studying of oxidation behavior of Benzoxazines as an important pharmaceutical property
In this work the electrooxidation half-wave potentials of some Benzoxazines were predicted from their structural molecular descriptors by using quantitative structure-property relationship (QSAR) approaches. The dataset consist the half-wave potential of 40 benzoxazine derivatives which were obtained by DC-polarography. Descriptors which were selected by stepwise multiple selection procedure ar...
متن کاملPower Imbalance in Collaboration Relationships
Power plays a significant role in many organizational theories such as resource dependency theory and transaction cost economics. It allows the strong companies to win more than others, or more broadly, to coerce others to do what they would not otherwise do. Power can seriously affect the confidence and commitment between parties. This paper aims to analyze the power concept in inter-organizat...
متن کاملSimultaneous power sharing and protection against faults for DGs in microgrid with different loads
The LVRT (Low Voltage Ride Through) is the main characteristic of every power system in faulty conditions. When fault occurs, it is essential for power system such as microgrid to control the voltage and frequency normally. Naturally in fault status, the unbalanced voltage and current are inevitable, but with the aid of LVRT technique, microgrid can keep stability in main system parameters such...
